My parents and I migrated to the United States from the Philippines. My father worked his way to a career with Apple when the company had less than 100 employees and my mother worked in technology sales. Growing up as a ‘techie,’ my parents helped me to discover a world of diversity and technology at such a young age. 

Witnessing my parents’ relentless hard work and determination to succeed in achieving the American Dream have inspired me to build a more human-centric and equitable society; where every individual has a futuristic opportunity to thrive.
